About

“The idea is to die young as late as possible.”

I am recent graduate of Northeastern University (Boston) and Universidad Comillas Pontificia (Madrid). Whether back in my hometown, San Diego, or galavanting the world, I am looking for comprehension, happiness, and sustainability in my life. Those come with trial and error: many, many, many errors.

I am at the investigation point of my life or more like an investigation lifestyle until I decide otherwise. Opportunities present themselves if you make them and tribulations come whether you want them or not. The ability to allow yourself some flexibility with your capabilities and compassions has defined who I am and am becoming, especially within the last year.

Growth is my objective. There is no stepping backwards; there’s an opportunity to look at the situation and say, “damn, thats not what I wanted” and go from there. I am too young to have long term frustrations that halt my growth.ย This blog is allowing me to share my experiences, exchange my thoughts, and hopefully encourage some to go out and explore like I am.

Thank you for following with me. Sometimes simply taking a second to write allows me to have a brief overview of my day and appreciate that day and those events for what there were. Nothings guaranteed; so enjoy things while you have the opportunity to. A bit cliche I know, but seizing an opportunity and enjoying it is way easier said than done. That is what I am trying to do.

How ever do u afford all your travels? I wish I could go all over the world but the trips are so expensive. Any tips on cheaper travel internationally?

    • One of the great tricks is once you are in Europe, travel can be very cheap (especially if your reference point is US prices). Book early and plan ahead. Also use multiple resources (Skyscanner.com and Couchsurfing.com are my two favorites). I also created an excel spreadsheet of all my expenses and cut back on every aspect possible while still living comfortably. At the end of the day, the extra cutbacks are way worth the travels in the future. I hope this helps a bit. Let me know if you have any other questions.

  2. I love the quote at the top! People have a hard time guessing my age… (probably because I act so childish, hee hee!) so I figure I’m partway there already!!

    • Half the battle is mentality. If you feel young, you will be young. Sounds like you are on the right track. It is amazing how powerful a mind can be.

  3. YAY! it always makes me glad when I come across another college student who loves exploring the world too! ๐Ÿ™‚
